Wizzy Evans
Born in Adelaide, Wizzy Evans grew up with a passion for the stage and screen. After 7 years of drama training, she changed her career path and decided to learn about the "other side" of the performance industry.
After beginning her career in television, she decided to relocate to Sydney and was fortunate enough to land a position at Australia's biggest and most prestigious casting agency, Mullinars Casting.
Two years later, Wizzy accepted the challenge of managing Mullinars Casting in Melbourne. Since then, her extensive credits include numerous television commercials, feature films and series, including:
- Award winning 4-year series "The Secret Life Of Us"
- BAFTA Award Winning children’s series, "Bootleg"
- Independent feature film "Josh Jarman"
- Australian box office hit "The Wannabes"
- Critically acclaimed series,"Last Man Standing"
- Australian Casting of: King Kong, Lord of the Rings & Charlotte’s Web
Wizzy returned to Adelaide in 2005 and set up Scene to Screen Studios, a boutique training ground for local actors and a casting company, focusing on casting local and interstate films, tvcs and series.
Some of her most recent projects include:
- Additional Casting for Scott Hicks’ feature, “The Boys are Back”
- Kojo Pictures yet to be released feature film, “Beautiful”
- AFI Award winning short film, “Spike Up”
- Nominated SA Short, “My Last 10 Hours With You”
